The purpose of the Education Committee is to ensure that the Educational programs and events that CAGS designs, develops and delivers enhance member competency, to ensure continued excellence in patient care for all. The committee’s mission is to provide the facility for every CAGS member to fully meet their individual CME requirements and recertification obligations.
Activities of the Education Committee include planning the CSF Postgraduate General Surgery Essentials course, supporting CSF program development and planning, supporting member learning resource development and access through the CAGS Learning and Resource Centre, and supporting innovative education activities to benefit CAGS members.
The Education Committee meets on a monthly basis.
